If has nothing to do with is. Maybe, if, and could have all mean the same thing. Scenarios are like dreams, they don't exist

How about you hunt national Forest land this year and learn to hunt so you aren't so worried about dumb crap.lol
This article makes my head hurt.

The folks rolling out with deer in beds of trucks are hunters no deer you suck.lmao on public lands that is
You kill what you see .brown it's down how I grew up but it teaches you how to hunt.30 yrs ago you might only see 2-3 deer a year you shoot all of em.lol

When I started hunting in clubs they made fun of me cause I was so cautious of my scent and walking in along ways and all the scouting I did.never got in shooting houses

I was always on top of killing sheet at sign in board.lol

Point is hunting ain't that hard for most of us to worry so much

Take time to get your gear top notch ready it's more fun anyway.start reloading and doing your own bow work killing deer is easy.sounds like you need some more hobbies anyways

Especially on the lands your hunting it sounds.got so many deer you worried about how to mate them just perfectly
If I had my own private 3000 acres I would not give this much thought.its nature man and they taste good plus fishing sucks when it's really cold.it will be ok just settle down .
Just messing around with you😜

You ain't changing much doing all this thinking or even planting or even shooting or not shooting.did someone gift you the mossy oak preserve or something

Honestly on any piece of land you got what you got and don't shoot everything.its really that simple

really hard to do anything with free range deer... you kill "x" number and 4 more take its place. its really really hard when your land boarders 3 sides of public.. we got a rule on our lease that we have to kill 4.5 or older and 8 or bigger.. but those deer that are not quite to the qualifications slip off on the wma then they get shot...

Turkey’s tell you when they want to die not lawmakers.

I don't know but in 30 yrs we have shot 30 does a yr to 0 does a yr for several consecutive seasons during different attempts to make a change and basically it does not matter, the only thing we noticed the several yrs we shot 30 was we saw fewer deer. Size and weight did not increase # of bucks did not increase, rut activity did not increase. So now we just shoot one if we want and don't worry about it.

It is all a hypothetical. But, I made a model that has a harvest component for a grad school populatiin dynamics. It had all the best info at the time. It would predict everything you ask and more. The problem is predicting populations is hard. A ton of effort is put into conservation biology (which is basically the conservation of endangered species) but those models even prove to be pretty elusive.

The basic problem is scale and precision because depending on range size accounting for immigration and emigration is a known unknown. That and stochastic (random) events that can really throw off the trajectory of a population.

Hmmmm. We see all of the above on properties we manage with selective doe harvest based on the data we have. If you can improve habitat and correct the sex ratio all of those things happen as a result. It takes a lot of land, because neighbors affect what you’re doing, but I’ve seen it work very well.

1500 acres, soybeans, corn, millet, wheat, clover etc etc. You can Holler at me anytime and come check it out and see what you think.

Bring the kids and take some does home with you
