Check out Walden Plumbing in electric. Local to Dothan/headland. That’s who did mine. Good guy. Mine was not even close to that but I had the switches put in when I built the house.
If you don’t have the generator yet then call JM electric supply in Dothan if you haven’t. That’s who I purchased the unit from.

Anyone got a real life experience with what is involved in installing one. I am going to put in a 22 kw on demand system and got my first quote. I can easily price the unit elsewhere and based on that he is looking for $6,000 on the install which I think is pure bs. Absolutely easiest install possible, easy access to unload unit and going in right next to the main breaker box which is sufficient to support unit with no modifications per my electrician buddy who put it in. Current rate for electricians in the area is $150\hr. When I called the guy today and asked him why exactly it would take a two man crew 2 1/2 days to install this thing when I had just watched my buddy run 25 feet of wire in conduit from my well house to my barn, install a new breaker box, wire in six circuits and pull wire to 6 switches/outlets in a little over 4 hours I wish I had recorded the conversation. This guy sounded like Kamala Harris replying to an interviewer asking about her plan to address inflation. Anyway he said he would look at it and get back with me. Lol Why can’t your electrician buddy do it?

I always figured that when you purchase a generator or pool or some other type of package deal that will come with a warranty and service, then the total price covers all that and you have someone hopefully who has a strong reputation in the community and has been in business a long time and will be there if you need them. So when you get a price breakdown from someone like that, it is really the total package cost that matters.
Yes, the electric could be done for less but then you don't get the service/warranty. If something breaks down, you don't have priority repair. Get several quotes from reputable companies to ensure you are getting best total price. Then decide what matters most to you and go from there.

My BIL had one wired for 1500.00 here in Lamar co about 4-5 years ago. He built a pad out of concrete blocks for it to sit on.
