Well I killed the first deer with the 7-80 120gr Barnes TTSXs. Shot was 190yds. I hit it a touch back but it still dropped in its tracks and was dead pretty quick. Complete pass through and major trauma to rear of the lungs and part of the liver. Hitting it a little back was my fault as apparently I have to get used to that light trigger. It’s 2.5lbs which some would not consider light but it is for me. I guess I was a little nervous and put a little to much pressure as I was tucking in and the gun to squeeze the trigger. A little more bench time and I should be ok with it. Anyway I killed the first buck with the new rifle and my hand loads. It was a nice little 8pt that will make some great sausage.

awesome little bullets, saw a mean little 62gr tsx out of a 22-250 @3200fps bust the offside shoulder on a horse of a doe at 240 yards yesterday morning. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/gLnfNkMV/IMG-2993.jpg) and to the op, cherish the one bullet you recovered because there wont be many 👌👌

I just shot a 243lb boar hog with the 7-08 and the TTSXs. The first shot was a little over 200yds. He was quartering to me and I put it in his shoulder. He took off and ran through a tree line. I followed the blood and tracks and found him laying about 40yds away. He was still alive so I put another one in him. He stood up and took a step and I put a 3rd one in him. Both these shots were back a little because that’s what could see. He went down right there. I didn’t look real close but I’m not sure if any of the bullets exited. There’s an ole boy down the road from me that takes those hogs I kill. He was gonna check when he cleans it. My opinion on these bullets on hogs are yet to be determined. I’m sure he would have died right there with the first shot. I’m curious to see if that bullet is still in him.

With a big hog like that and those shoulder plates being built up I’m guessing that bullet didn’t pass through at that distance

They guy I gave the hog to called me earlier. He found the bullets from the 2nd and 3rd shot. The first shot went all the way through. Entered the shoulder and went through the lungs, caught part of the liver and exited at the back of the ribs. He said there was 4 ribs that were broke where it exited. The other 2 were lodged under the hide on the opposite side. One bullet weighed 117grs and the other was 112grs. One bullet did lose a petal. I’m having issues with Imgur so I can’t post pictures.
