It was a staged setup where Tyson agreed to a good payday as long as he just danced around some for show and didnt really try to knock Paul out.....You gotta think that if Paul gets beat then that kinda ends his gig.....In return Paul agreed not to be too aggressive trying to knock Tyson out and they basically just sparred for 8 rounds

Apparently its coming out now that the whole thing was completely rigged......To the point that it was in the contract that if Mike knocked him out in the first round he wouldnt get any money.....The only way he got paid in full was to go 8 rds and let Paul win
