Anybody know if anyone makes one that will hold at least 50#, dispense it and most importantly, keep it dry?

Tractor supply has this one. Seems like right when they came out, people were saying that moisture was getting in there and clogging up. I’ve never used one. It’s the only one on the market that I know of and only holds 10#.

I got one that straps to a tree holds 50lb. Looks like the leg cut out of a set of waders. Small ends a few inches off ground big end folds over water tight.

I bought the one that shakes it out. Way too humid in my area. It might be decent if you waited until late season to use it. I gave up

Just dump it on the ground. It won’t last long anyways. My buddy showed me the trick of dumping it on 100lbs of corn. That way the deer have to kinda pick around at it. Be warned though… it will make a deer sneeze. Which will scare the crap out of you when you are 20 yards away in a bow stand on a still evening. Make you ruin a good pair of Magellan light weight bottomland pants.

I hav one - its just a feed trough with a roof on it - works great. I never put corn in it - rice bran only. Coons pretty much stay out. I hav trapped some in The area - but since i never corn it - they pretty
Much stay out of it

I put it out in a large covered trough.

I had a bag out by my dog kennels and the deer dragged it off and ate all of it. LOL

Pretty low on the deer preference list from what I’ve seen. I’ve heard folks say the deer liked it better than corn, but that hasn’t been my experience. I used one of the moultrie bag feeders someone above posted. Moisture would climb up into the bag, and you’d find yourself having to shake more out over time. It would brick up and jam the bag.I went back to just corn.

Either fill the inside back side up with some foam or screw a piece of a 4x4 under the under the backside to tilt it forward. 31 gal trash can from home depot.

Just tie it to a tree because they will knock it over once it is empty.

Or you can buy pelletized rice bran and run it through a standard feeder.

Tractor Supply sells it as a horse supplement but it's crazy expensive.

Horse Supplement

I bet the co-op could order it as well.

I put out the rice bran pellets before and they wouldn’t touch it. You may have luck with it but I’ve always had better luck with the powder.
