I would not think Any 3 loss team would go and i think over half the sec teams with 3 losses would never go - but bama
May still be in it even w a loss The committee said early on that they will not penalize a team for losing the conference championship game. Since it is an extra game that other teams don’t necessarily play in. I feel like if we have learned anything about Alabama since the beginning of the Saban era, it's that if there is anyway possible, the "committee" will put them in. At the end of the day money talks, Bama brings in the money. Fans travel and spend. A 10 loss Bama team would bring in way more money than an undefeated Boise st. Which year did the committee put a non deserving team, whether Bama or anyone else, in the playoffs? Could start with the years that Bama didn't win their division or play for conference championship. The teams were super talented and I know won the NCAA but just always felt no one else would have been given that opportunity.
