I seriously doubt it. Had few acquaintances who had their lease sell and weren't given a notice with them. Seems to happen with most of 'em unfortunately.

From my past experiences Rayonier gives no notice and really could care less if it is hunting season or not when they are ready to cut timber and make money. No doubt it sucks to pay for a Hunting lease and then have the land owner come in an cut timber when You paid them for the right to hunt property.

Heck no and Rayonier trashes the roads and never fixed them. Our President put in multiple requests and they never did anything. Fortunately RMS bought our biggest tract and they have been the exact opposite of Rayonier. Wonderful to deal with.

Rayonier has sent us emails with maps lately when they were gonna cut a tract. This has gotten much better lately and the last 3 times they have cut on our place, they hired someone to go behind the loggers and fix all the roads. This was not always the case and they absolutely refuse to do any road work unless it’s after a logging operation. They can be hard to deal with.

The Foresrty company that takes care of the timber on our place will call me before they do anything on the property. They would call me to let me know when someone was just going to the place to inspect the timber. Also anytime we had issues with loggers leaving trash, oil cans, tires or grease buckets all over the place, they had them clean that mess up right away. Great people to work with.
