Guys with all the craze of tracking world several of the notable trackers across the state are doing similar things. We are getting tired of tracking behind non experienced trackers and dogs. The hunters have the ultimate decision factor in this as they are the ones that need to do their homework and call the right tracker. Now I know Harold and John are both great trackers and they are in their own regions respectfully. This is more of a list for experienced trackers in the blackbelt area. Many good dogs throughout the state just saying that we have teamed up to try and get the hunter the best tracker they can get in this region.

It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

Dano do some have small breed or large breed to I guess that strictly track and others that have track dogs with larger dogs that bay/ catch the deer if still alive? Or is that even possible/ legal?

I met Art Powers at Portland while scouting last year. Seemed like a real good guy. Tracking reputation seems legit too.

Anyone who says they’ve never made a bad shot on a deer ain’t shot at many deer. Unfortunately I’ve made a few and it still makes sick thinking about them.

Exactly.....if you hunt long enough, you are going to have some misses and bad shots, even when you think everything was perfect......sick feeling....
