sj22 OP 14 point Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 8,229	She used to go with me when she was younger and watched me shoot a few deer but never wanted to try and shoot one herself and that was fine, never wanted to make her do it. Fast forward a few years and she gets busy with other things and hasn’t been with me in several years and about a month ago she said she wanted to kill one so we did some shooting and got ready. I figured she’d be an afternoon hunter because she’s like her mom about that morning sleep but she said yesterday she wanted to go this morning and she actually got up pretty easy. I took a little heater to help out and we got in the shooting house about 5:45 and about 7 a couple does come through and she wasn’t sure she wanted to shoot that far(about 110 yards) so we waited and about 30 minutes later some more come out in the same place and she didn’t wanna wait this time so she let it rip! Shot a little high and caught a little spine but she got it done! What a day!! Hope she keeps going and I’ll load up every one she wants to shoot
