First sit of the season sitting with my wife on a green field. We had a new shooter show up here last night. Not a huge deer but tall and outside his ears. Big enough for her second buck and he's got a bit of character too.

Sitting with my middle this evening. Killed 10 wasps so far.. might I add she’s deathly afraid of flying stinging insects.. I think every deer in a 12 mile radius knows it now..

Sat from 2-5 in a consistently good spot in the NF. No deer seen and not a single gun shot heard. Very odd.

Sat til dark. Had some does move in right before last light and had to wait for them to leave to get down. Heard some LATE shots…
