Anyone else feel like college football is so boring now that it is really hard to watch? The refs throw a flag every play, the games last 4 hrs which is ridiculous, the players dance and celebrate everything, fans storm the field every win
Just seems a little much at this point, I used to enjoy watching it but last yr and this yr I hardly watch it and when I do try I lose interest very quick cause of all the penalties and commercials etc.

They really need to shorten the games dramatically

I’ve loved it this year (minus the Bama losses, LOL). No one just running the table, upset after upset, etc

Now the fans storming the field, that is a bit much

I thought it was pathetic watching Auburn fans storm the field after beating the #15 team.

As long as it’s considered the new hip thing to do they will continue to do it. Makes no sense. Seems like it became popular after Tenn beat Alabama a few years ago. Never really saw it happen at SEC schools in the past. My dad always said sec schools don’t rush the field because they know what it’s like to win big important games, nothing new.

NFL is a much better “product” these days. Outside of Alabama, if I just wanna watch some football, I’d much rather watch Pro

This coming on the field crap has got to be stopped. If you come on the field, like a streaker, in the middle of the game; you get arrested. So, when this happens; they need to start arresting as many trespassers as they can. Put them in zip ties and line them up. If students, expell them. Season ticket holders; cancel them. I have seen drunks getting in the face of disappointed players/ coaches and somebody is going to get knocked out. Ridiculous and dangerous.

I've tried to watch a little of it, but just can't do it any longer. I've not watched a game start to finish since they all started taking a knee. Just never came back after that. When I do tune in, the games are usually trash. Just don't have the interest like I used to.

Yep seen that, done same (they knocked one over before the game was over) in Oklahoma last night and it's been getting old.

Then someone is going to sue the University for not providing adequate security to protect their dumb azz.

Well, one thing good about how pathetic college football is now. I watched Alabama get curb stomped by an unranked team last night and my heart rate never got elevated one bit. Didnt even get a tingle off of it. I slept like a baby last night. Them turning college football into something im not capable of caring about has certainly helped my emotional wellbeing. Other than that, it pretty well sux. Not hardly worth watching any more. Not much substance to it.

Quick way to stop the field storming, “winning” team has to forfeit the game if it happens.

Ben2 I love it. I will continue to watch it. I don’t watch much pro ball anymore really but I will watch the playoffs.

News flash, If you are watching college football, you ARE watching pro football. I heard a interview with the President of UGA recently. He said, we screwed up, the colleges should have stopped this from the beginning, now its too late. We can make some changes but not much. College football is worse than pro football and I dont care for pro football. I played the game for 16 yrs and its sad to see what has happened.
