Raining in Tallassee

Sitting in my shooting house behind my shop . Power company cleared 2 power lines so I moved it . Next time I have the pallet forks on the tractor I need to move it . Have a blind spot that I need to be able to see . Ran deer out of the field walking in this morning. Wind howling ! Good luck to all , and be safe out there !

Was gonna hunt before work but saw 6 does pulling up in the field to my parking spot…decided to not spook em and just back out and then sit in the truck watching the backside till I had to leave

We got skunked but we are Back at camp eating biscuits, gravy and scrambled eggs with OJ. So it isn’t all that bad.

Going to hang around camp and go hunt this afternoon with the trigger man.

Just climbed the tree. Set up in an oak flat adjacent to some thinned pines. GL.

In the shooting house this afternoon over looking our back hay field. May be something will slip out to eat here in a little while. GL everyone.

2nd sit of year. Came saturday pm and didnt see anything. Multiple bucks on camera n a couple pigs. Maybe something will show. Good luck this afternoon

I’m here for the evening been here about an hour and so far I’ve seen a house dog with her litter of pups whining at the shooting house. The proceed to my corn pile 100 yards away and 2 pups take a sh!t in my corn. Then 15 minutes later a pack of 7 more dogs come through. My hunting season is off to a rough start..

I killed one , took the hind quarters soak them in salt water for couple days . Had my nephew season them good and smoke them for me . Meat was falling off the bone. Add in taters and carrots and lots of beer to drink Mmmmmm

Son just dropped his first buck at the farm. Third buck overall, but first ever buck at the family farm. No idea what deer it was.
