I have them around my pier on salt water. They are very destructive. They pull a pin fish trap apart like it was nothing. They also like to get in boats and chew up cushions and crap everywhere.

They are some mean suckers. Not to hard to catch. Find a otter toilet on the bank and where they are coming up. Just look for a big pile of fish scales. I caught two in some foot holds out in a pasture one time with nothing but crows blood from down south trappers.

I was driving through Osceola National Forest a couple years ago when I saw something black ahead of me on the road. It was a whole family of them (7-8) rolling around and playing in the road.
They don't show themselves often like this. I've seen a few slides out in the wild here.

Choot every one of them. They will dig a hole in the bank and eat all your big fish first

I'm building on a piece of property I own on a large flowing creek. I have a pair I see occasionally swimming around. They are small but bigger than a mink and I only ever see them at first light.
