What i hav learned over 55 years of life - people can act very stupid or immature over many things but especially over deer hunting and Auburn and alabama football 🤣🤣😀

I am so glad i hav my own lease - the things i saw n clubs - night hunting, illegally signing in to be first - constant breaking of rules so they can kill deer - bickering. I kept my mouth shut and they were never embarrassed in any club for acting like a 5 year old. Its Like dealing with 5 year olds - pathetic

The lease owner is definitely in the wrong and a giant ass. Having said that, and I'm not taking his side, but I have a slightly different perspective. I have hunted countless hours on public land and the enjoyable part of it to me is getting far away from other people. I can't imagine setting up on public 20-30 yards from private land that I know someone is leasing and actively hunting. I especially wouldn't set up literally sitting next to that guy's game camera and certainly wouldn't bring my daughter to a hunting situation that I know is going to end up in conflict. The hunter is "right" but it led to a shitty hunt that he could have easily known was going to be shitty. His daughter can't even harvest her buck because her Dad put her so close to the line that they can't retrieve her deer without trespassing. And the guy then blames the state's trespass laws instead of himself for putting his daughter in that situation. If he wasn't hunting next to the guy's game camera and on the property line he might have let him retrieve the buck. Neither of those guys is going to be able to actually enjoy hunting that area with their attitudes.

Yes the cameras were on public and the property line was a pretty good ways away. The buck just happened to run straight to the other property. Wasn’t the best shot on the deer. That’s was a situation where the perfect shot neede to be make for a quick kill. Another reason I don’t care to hunt anywhere close to a property line. Chit happens sometime.

I guess the guy with the camera thought his camera reserved the spot? The way I understand it is there is no reserving a spot a public land by putting something there.

He leased the land that joined the public land, put cameras on pubic land and tried to tell that man in front of his daughter he couldn't hunt there just because he said so. Total azz hat. I would have had the GW pay him a visit.

Idiot needed his ass whipped. If the kid had been shooting a fixed blade broadhead, they would have recovered that buck. Not enough energy in that youth setup to be shooting a mechanical.

Sorry tdog I wasn’t meaning it in that manner… I will by no means intentionally hunt any game close to where I know someone is, until an individual crosses that line with me. But I will be quiet and sneaky about it and never say anything about it..
And yes turkey hunters are the worst… I hunted a bird in a club for a few days during the week and had him patterned out pretty well.. fellow club member got beat to a spot and got mad. Slamming doors talking loudly turkey still gobbled. He came in and sat between the bird and me. Has soon as I heard him making calls I knew what the bird was gonna do… I circled back and made a big loop around the bird and he ran him right to me….
He was waiting on me at my truck. Pitched my vest in the truck, said good morning and drove on out… never mentioned him walking by and cutting me off…
