If you have them what type have you found to work well?
Or is there one you recommend over the other socks vs insoles?
TIA

last year I used a pair of heated ThermaCell insoles (the orange ones) in my Lacrosse 1000 gram insulated boots w/merino wool socks …. used when the temps started getting into the 20’s … what I found “worked” was I’d leave them off & only turn them on HIGH when my feet started to get chilled (about 1 hr on stand) … they’d only last for about 3-4 hours … I never felt them when I ran them on low …
my feet never felt warm - but they never froze either - so they “worked” as advertised … one thing they tell you to do is wear a thinner sock - i found that to be the case …
we scored my pair off Poshmark for $30 which is cheap for heated insoles … another mistake i was making was wearing too small of a boot … my old Lacrosse boots wore out & I got a used pair one size larger & that really helped a lot …

Never thought of that.. believe ill try it.. bet its a game changer I’ve got some health issues that it was impossible to keep my feet and hands warm. If my feet start to get cold I just turn them on a few minutes until toasty and turn them off. I’m good with just alpaca socks and good boots until it get below 30 ish. The electric sockets are a game changer.

Hot hands and wool work for my hands but my feet are needing something else
