Nice stiff north wind and cold I’m running a little behind this morning, but better late than never. Should be a nice day. I’m sitting in a hardwood bottom that’s surrounded by a super thick 10yo hardwood regen briar thicket. hopefully I can catch one on its feet. Two 2yo 8’s, a couple of spikes and three does so far. Sitting in s shooting house on a powerline. Saw four racks and thirteen does in this spot yesterday.

A few does from 620-7 this morning feeding in a field 100 yards away from the kennels.Still early but the freezer is about empty. Guess I’m getting soft,i enjoy watching them chow down and pay me or the dogs no mind. It’s coming though very soon.

Got on stand late at 3:30. Awesome day - clear - cold - deer should move. Wish i was at one of my best fields that had basically 0
Pressure - but wind has not been right for those fields hardly all season
At a fairly hunted spot - we will see what happens - due to pressure here hopes low but i had to go. The wind is right

Dang Shaw your morning was exactly like my evening...  I seen 2 pretty young 8 pointers, a couple spikers and I dont know how many does was running around till dark....It was a great day to hunt...
