He musta forgot to catch the brass. NYPD recovered three 9mm casings at the scene

He very easily could have dropped different brass to throw LE off
Just making suggestions of why he was clearing or self ejecting brass
Lots of unknowns except he was under investigation by the DOJ

News report I just watched said the NYPD recovered 3 live rounds along with the 3 spent casings mentioned above.

He was due to testify in front of Congress about a long list of fraud, corruption, and other things. They are saying his testimony would have implicated a lot of people and possibly could bring down the company. .

Suppressor likely homemade with no Neilsen device to work the the action. Brazen action. Can only assume the motive.

NYC police found a cellphone in the area and it may have been dropped or planted by the shooter. If you live in New York and have recently lost your cellphone, you may be about to catch the Clinton Flu.

The weapon looks to me like a B&T station six. It is a manually operated magazine fed pistol with a built in suppressor.

You experienced guys that shoot semi-auto pistols can tell me I'm sure but why all the jamming if he was a pro. Wouldn't you have a better/clean gun? John Wick never had to deal with jams..

That was my thought when I saw it

Best place for an assassination. In plain sight with plenty of people to disappear into.
Mask are everywhere still so one doesnā€™t look out of place wearing one in liberal cities.

First thought was someoneā€™s family member died because of denied coverage
Then the investigation into insider trading makes more sense considering the knowledge of wher the CEO was gonna be and what time.

Kinda figured it would be something tied to money. Doesn't surprise me at all.

If he was a pro he was sloppy IMO. He was around that area all night. He didn't have his eyes covered and went into a Starbucks got some power bars and a coffee, getting close-ups on camera. He looked like he had trouble with his gun and hit the target in the leg the first shot at chip shot range. He used a city owned bike to escape , word is they have trackers on them.

BREAKING: The words "deny," "defend" and "depose" were discovered by detectives on the shell casings found at the scene where Brian Thompson, the CEO of major insurance group UnitedHealthcare, was gunned down - ABC https://x.com/TheInsiderPaper/status/1864531652447211529

Sure looks like a disgruntled somebody.
Maybe that is what they wanted it to look like. We'll never know who the shooter was.

Looks like a professional hit made to look like a disgruntled amateur. How would just any disgruntled customer know when and where the CEO would be in New York? Don't think an amateur has a planned escape and bike route this well planned. Seems there is evidence being left to point the police in the wrong direction. If he isn't caught in the next day or so, I do not believe the shooter will ever be found, unless he is found and has taken his own life(The clinton flu).

They have said it was not a trackable Citibike; though originally thought it might be.

This is what I thought when I read the piece about the words on the rounds. I'm thinking it's a scenario like the movie "Shooter".

Very interesting to say the least.
I saw the video, they said the backpack he had on was 300.00. Theyā€™ve already found the make and model.
Hard to get away with so thing like this nowadays unless youā€™re a Clinton looks like.
