Looks like you folded up that running gear on him! you bust him on the forest? Got him in the National Forest. 174 pounds. Third deer I saw this morning. He was in a bottom and I was about 50 feet above him in a climber. Got him a little forward given the tough angle. Gave it 30 minutes. We jumped him dragging his right front end. Son-in-law finished him. 200 yard drag through thick woods and uphill. Thank God for Son-in-laws  .

Congrats Mark! Was it worth the 19 year venture? Lol, I've killed a 8 point but not with near as much mass as your deer. Maybe I can be patient a few more years and get a better one. Proud for you sir! Definitely worth the wait. Ive killed some bucks over the years but not any I'd mount. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen? I've actually got access to private land with a sure nuff bruiser bigger than that one. Harder to hunt public because they've got so much more land to spread out on.

On stand - Wind perfect for big field and i hav not hunted here but once in muzzy and eased out then without being noticed. A good buck potentially daylighted here yesterday with cold weather. Do not feel as strongly about today - but i in good spot with great wind and practically no pressure
Prob means i will get shut out 🤣🤣

Saw a bunch of deer yesterday afternoon had a shooter come out right at dark but lost the light. Saw 20 deer and a couple small bucks this morning but so far this afternoon not a thing
We will burn that bridge when we get there
