Rough start but hopefully it gets better. Set up on the tip
Of a dry slough, in a little open area that's thick on both sides then opens up into another slough. The backside is thick undergrowth that transitions into 15 year pines that haven't been thinned. Just trying to catch one easing through this morning. Stay safe and good luck.

Sat til 11:15, no deer. Woods were dead until the sun popped out at 9:30 when the squirrels and birds went crazy.

Didn’t go this morning,it was completely dead all day yesterday and based on trail cameras, nothing was moving after 5:20 this morning. Oh well, good luck out there
