Been Huntin hard. Have had an encounter with a stud messed up rack buck. Hunted all Saturday and decided not to go this am…of course he was out there this am. Out here now trying it again

I’ve actually been hunting pretty hard…got a couple I’m hunting but all I’ve seen is does and yearlings. Man this is the least I've deer hunted since I started hunting (in my late teens). Just busy I guess. Took my oldest daughter for one sit during youth weekend and then my oldest son for the gun opener. That's it. Well that's almost true - I did go out to my buddy's place in Texas for their archery opener. I do plan to hit it pretty hard in January. Hopefully that'll pay off.

I have killed exponentially more bucks in January than all other months of deer season combined and it isnt even close

Missed my 3rd buck this season behind my in laws with their gun. 130” 8 which would have been my biggest buck. Never have had such an awful season as I’m over it tbh
