Will Bama improve , stay the same, or get worse ?

Will Auburn improve, stay the same, or get worse ?

I think Bama probably stays the same. No hate there, but it just seems to be the way it looks to me.

I think Auburn will improve, but how much depends on if they get a solid q.b. in the portal. When you're at the bottom anywhere is up.

I think both improve but would not put anything down on that. They both could do worse - especially AU 😀

Bama will improve on consistency. That is usually a growing pain with learning a new system on both sides of the ball. The players aren’t as confident and make more mental mistakes.

I fully expect Bama to improve. I do think there will be a shakeup on the staff though. CKD has been there less than 12 months so I’m giving him some time. Win the games you’re supposed to win and be competitive in the games you lose. Mental and physical toughness is an area to work on. I never want to see a Malachi Moore crybaby meltdown like that again without some serious consequences. My 3yo grandsons act like that sometimes and their parents are not having it.

Auburn will show huge improvement if they find a QB, either on staff already or in the portal. Another thing to watch is Alex McPherson's recovery from Crohn's disease. Some may say that he's only a kicker, but he was one of the best in the country and his absence made a huge difference in several games. He is a true weapon that AU went without this year. It is sad, whether you wear Orange and Blue or Crimson and White, to see a young man with a bright NFL future get taken down by a disease like Crohn's. Even if he beats it, he lost so much body weight I imagine it will take a very long time to regain his strength.
The receiving corps was young, for the most part so they will get better. KLS graduating will hurt but there are other talented guys to step into his spot.
The OL will have to improve, which I think they will.
The D was anchored by some youngsters so they will certainly improve and they were a team strength already.
DBs were young and will only get better. They are well coached by McGriff and Durkin did a good job as DC.
Anyways, I expect improvement.

Alabama I expect will stay pretty much the same but I am far from being a person that knows their roster. I'll have to let the resident bammers comment on this.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Depends on how this portal stuff goes......The way things are now you could lose half your talent from one season to the next

That's one reason I think Bama and pretty much the rest of the better teams in the country stay the same It's going to be really hard for any team to have less than 2 losses in this NIL / Portal environment IMO.

Aub definitely improves, only one way for them to go, is up. Bama team needs to be more disciplined. Hopefully milroe leaves at the end of the season.

Impossible question to answer for any team at this point. Until you figure out your loss/gain from the portal, as well as your coaching staff, everything is just a wild guess.

Too early. I agree with CNC.

Let’s see how the portal season shakes out….

Is that the official prediction?

It’s a direct copy and paste from last years.

Well that the early prediction , it may change after the portal , or spring camp or summer practices or because of injury. But i had to guess right now that would be my bet. I'm just trying to be objective

Picking a 5-7 team to go 10-2 when they haven't addressed their personnel issues just oozes objectivity.
