I'm in the que but que # is 4392, no way the DAV deer tag will still be available. I was 36,000 in line on one search engine. Last year for this sale as next year ALL NON_RES tags will be a draw there.

DAV elk was gone in less than 1,000 people lol. They let civilians buy them for the DAV which is BS

Idaho has the money machine figured out with this system. Approx $200 lotto ticket by marketing the no point random draw. Had planned on joining in, but decided against this morning. I suspect all the recent YouTube publicity added several thousand more to the que.

I’ll probably just join the crowds in Colorado again next year.

Colorado won’t be doing OTC next year. From my understanding, this is the last time Idaho will be as well. I didn’t buy anything. I decided I’ll just do my usual NM draws and see what happens. I can almost guarantee myself an early season archery tag for mule deer. Just not the best area.

1 minute before I entered the purchase portion the last DAV deer tag sold lol. That's ok because I'll be near by hunting whitetail in Washington.

Next years Idaho tags will be draw for non residents.

The numbers were no different than any of the last several years and the current system isn't a money maker. They'll make the money when it becomes a draw and we pay money to draw. What's funny is people have no clue what they are putting in for and get a big surprise when they show up to hunt in a shitty unit. The draw will be better than the current system and hopefully they never make it a points game.
