Finally at the camp for the first time this season. I’m in a tripod in the big woods where 3 roads intersect and Bayli is in a shooting house in the big woods about a half mile from me. Sure is nice to be back in the woods.

Good cold morning in high Jackson. How many are hunting Skyline this weekend ?

I’ll be up next Wednesday setting up camp at Hytop. Meeting your neighbor up there for a few days. Got my dad going with me, it’s gonna be a fun trip. As my buddy Mr. Mclaughlin that lives on 79 says. I’m looking for a grown un up there.

They moving good this morning according to my cameras. Two good bucks came through a bottom eating white oaks while I’m at work!

I seen a nice 5pt and a 99.5 lb doe. Bayli saw a couple does but decided not to shoot. Was a pretty good morning.

Set up on the ground in a cedar thicket on a fence row. Only real way to hunt this spot. Feels good, maybe these trees will help with cover scent

I slipped down here to a shooting house after work. Should have put more clothes on but I was in a hurry

Had a big one come by at 5.

I also did not dress accordingly this afternoon. The temp dropped lick a rock and it was a very cold 4 wheeler ride back to camp.
