I don’t really blame him. Too much talent to play 3rd fiddle to Milro’ and RB1

That's what happens when your QB has more carries than your starting RB, and double the # of carries of the backup RB. RBs like touches and like to score and they'd let Milroe, or Milroe would would make the decision to keep it himself, and punch it in for the score anytime Bama had the ball inside the 10. Same with the WRs. Why stay around if you have a QB that cannot stand in the pocket and accurately distribute the ball around to all levels of the field. I'm honestly shocked that RB1 and Williams haven't both jumped ship too.

Crap. He’s gonna be a good RB somewhere. Wish he’d stayed.

He averaged 5.7 yds per carry; not enough opportunities. Only 79 carry's and scored 7 td's

Nah, it's just that the best RB on the team also happens to be the QB

So it’s the QBs fault he wasn’t getting carries, and the QB is leaving, and he decides to leave too?? Either it has nothing to do with Milroe, or Milroe is staying. It doesn’t make sense for him to transfer if the reason he wasn’t happy is leaving.

The one play that sticks out in my mind was I believe either a 3rd or 4th and short that it appeared he should have made pretty easy. Made very little effort and killed the drive

Now James!! How dare you bring stats and facts into a conversation involving Milroe. But but but, He runs so fast and looks really good standing there in the backfield. That makes him a great runner and obviously the best option at both QB and RB. Let’s let him control the offense and get 45-50 touches a game. I don’t blame Haynes at all. It’s kind of hard to get into a rhythm and put up big stats when you only average getting 6 carries per game over an entire 12 game season. I’d leave too if I was him and I’d go to a sister SEC school where I was able to play Bama and run the ball straight down Deboer’s throat next year.

I dont think anyone has said he wasnt at least pretty good. We were led to believe he was the next Derrick Henry. I thought jam Miller was the better back this season and probably why he got more carries

Just the way it is now; these players would rather start at Indiana than be a back up for a couple of years at schools like Alabama.
Really expected; he's a good back and should do well. And #2 back in country coming in. Word is he was very close friends with Caleb Downs. May get a big bag from OSU like Judkins did; who transferred and only got half the carries he got at Ole Miss.
But waiting your turn worked out pretty well for Najee Harris and Brian Robinson.

Neither one of them had to deal with a QB running the ball 15-30 times a game and taking what would’ve normally been their touches on rushing downs. Not even close to the same situation.

Does not matter why they did not get the reps; they did not get the carries. Najee almost transferred and probably would have in current environment.Robinson never started till his Sr season.
Good players are moving all over the country because they want to start. Justice would still split carries with Jam next year no matter who is QB. This year is over; he is looking ahead.

He wasn’t much of a blocking back. With Bama’s poor excuse for a line they needed the extra blocker.
