Ok gentleman, who can direct on where to buy a good countertop (nugget) ice maker? My wife wants one for Christmas. I’ve seen them on TikTok shop, but not really sure about ordering offline. What’s your thoughts? Thanks, Robinhedd

My wife wanted one a couple of years ago. It’s in storage somewhere now.

My son and his roommate have one because their fridge doesn’t have an icemaker. His roommate bought it off of Amazon. Does pretty good.

We have had one for 2 1/2 years now. Love it! If it quit today I would buy another one tomorrow. Bought it off Amazon.

I had one only problem with one I had . When it made a tub of ice an I transferred it to fridge it would stick together when refrozen.

Just got the Frigidaire. Nugget ice. Sit is loud if you listen for it. But. Makes ice fast. Wife is happy so I’m happy.

We have one from amazon. No problems so far . Ours is a bit noisy, but wife and grandkids love it.

I don’t know if it is just the one we have, but we have to use distilled water. If we use regular filtered tap water it gets scaled over and quits working. $2 a week for a gallon of distilled water isn’t a deal breaker for Sonic ice at home!
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

I have the GE Opal (I think that's what it's called). Had it a few years now. First one died and I got another. Recommend running distilled water in it, otherwise it'll get nasty, even with regular cleaning.
