These are from a mix that was old seed. Deer started on them after about 3 frosts. I guess this is a Daikon Radish as best I can tell.
We got a nice rain here the other day. I'm thinking they will continue to throw out a few leaves.

I’ve never had a deer eat a turnip or a radish root. I wish they waited until a frost to eat the tops, though. They eat them not long after they sprout.

This was nothing to brag about. It's irrigated or it would be minimal. They have not touched the roots yet that I can tell.
