Sounds like my source for information was accurate. I knew the information I was told was valid but was curious as to how known this information was.

I'm sure it was because their old biologist just wasnt getting it done and they needed someone with "proven, serious game management experience and credentials" to help them manage their property, in order for it to reach its maximum potential. He's done such a fantastic job with the entire state of AL, just imagine what he can do when he concentrates his efforts on a specific property.
He'll probably recommend killing every doe they see, to tighten up that B/D ratio. More bait is definitely needed. CORN! In order to support the dominant gobbler theory and improve the turkey hunting, he will institute new property specific rules, allowing only 2 gobblers to be killed on the entire property, with the season opening on May 6th and running through May 7th. He will institute both "crappie and bluegill check" for their lakes and ponds and impose a slot limit on bass with only one fish measuring between 15 1/8 and 15 3/8" being allowed to be kept. Lastly, in order to raise more funds for Dollarhide property management, each member and guest will have to buy daily Dollarhide permits for whatever they want to hunt or catch, and every bird or animal killed, and fish caught, will have to be measured, weighed, aged, and all data entered into a special newly designed gamecheck system within 3 minutes of kill or capture. Penalty for first violation for failure to comply with the above will be a fine issued to the member in violation. Fine will be permanently losing their family's, legacy, equity shares in the club. Pretty sure he’s in charge of their management already X2

I think I read something a while back about some dudes poaching that club. They were coming in from the river by boat or something? Same place? When I was in my late teens/early twenties, we were in a club across the river from Dollarhide. Some nights it sounded like a war with the gunfire you would hear at night lying in bed. Often heard guns with full auto fire. 338, would that have been Duffy's Bend HC where y'all were at ?

That a$$hole should have to hunt public lands exclusively. You know, since he manages it so we’ll. Someone gets it
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

I heard through the grapevine that Dollarhide hunting club gave Chucky a honorary membership. Anyone in the know who can confirm that? Wouldn't state ethics laws prohibit this ? I'm fairly certain he has to file the Statement of Economic Interests each year. Basing this on an actual membership that has value...

I went to Greene Co in 1985, first deer season I hear probably 6 late(illegal) duck shoots. Next weekend Officer Foster and I busted a couple of illegal shoots. Sunday morning we checked a shoot at Dollarhide, I think we wrote 4-5 tickets for no license, no stamps, unsigned stamps, lead shot, no plug,..They were NOT happy to see ME and Foster. The just retired GW had been a member there for years and did not check them, or apparently anyone else duck hunting. Foster and I made a ton of duck cases the first three week ends of season.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

It could be reported to the ethics commission if someone were so inclined.

ethics commission is a fkn joke. Charles Kelly tried to have the State Ethics Board on my ass over guiding hunters on my off days. The rule he was trying to get me on did not apply to what I was doing, plain and simple. After many delays I finally called the Ethics chairman and asked outright where we were. He told me "in his unofficial opinion I was in violation" ....I told him where he could stick his "unofficial opinion". That was the end of that.
