Sitting on the back porch smoking two pork loins watching a field 220 yards away. Maybe one will meander through. I’ve let several walk over the season while porch sitting due to not being the right one.

In a box stand on a powerline running down middle of nature hardwoods with pond slough to my right. Heard a few shots real early but I’ve seen nothing but 4 woodies swimming within shotgun range. I’m thinking a pot of duck, chicken, and sausage gumbo sounds pretty good right now.

Pile of white hair at shot site. Pile is big as hood of truck. What say ye gents? Low belly shot.......probably gonna have to get a dog......You may have just grazed him but a lot of times you barely clip the bottom of the guts with that shot.....Gonna definitely want to give him some time even if you start finding "good blood"
