Gents, I have a moultrie spin feeder behind the house. I will set the time and spin times and it wont go off. Ill go check it and it looks like it resets to factory. I have changed batteries and tried an external battery with same result. I have had it 3 years. Any suggestions? Problems started with the word Moultrie.

Go buy a new spinner(computer). About 50 bucks I think That’s been my experience as well. Only solution I’ve found.

#1 - Change the battery. Those batteries make them do crazy things.
#2 - If that didn’t work I’d change the whole motor. The timer has to have wires cut and spliced back together which is a pain in the ass. For the $10 difference between the timer and the entire motor assembly, it’s just easier to get a new motor and plug and play. Next season I’m going to take the legs off my Moultrie feeders and get some 55 gallon drums and Boss Buck feeder motors and make my own. The Moultries will then reside in a landfill. Every year I have to replace 3-4 motors off of those POS feeders.
If it’s got Moultrie stamped on it you can bet it’s a piece of junk.

I had one do that this year for the first time after 5 or 6 years of use. Theres a small reset button in the housing where the 6v battery sits. I reset it and looked to be working good. Came back next day and it had defaulted again. Tried the reset again and its been working ever since.

Sitting in a shooting house as we speak looking at a 5 gal moultrie feeder that’s about 10 years old and still going strong, all OEM except the battery

The newer stuff is where I have had issues.
