Waiting for gray light to walk in. Don’t want to bust anything out of the field I’m heading too. Hot and muggy, but maybe the storms last night kept them from moving too much and will be active this morning. Good luck to all and stay safe this afternoon.

Sitting on the ground looking off a bluff area. When I went by a Skyline gate it was covered up trucks and a car or 2. No way these guys don’t bump into each other. Wear your orange.

Saw a doe as soon as I got in the stand this morning. Just had to bail from my stand for the afternoon sit. Lightning got too close for comfort. Did see one deer out eating in a green field walking in.

Just send the gps coordinates and I can take care of the disruption to peace and solitude… lol

Have friends from north Texas pick the worst weekend weather wise to fly down and hunt south bama with me. It’s been tough with does an yearlins all that’s been seen without any of the typical hogs. I’m drinkin a beer in a shooting house sweating right now playing guide, but we have had fun! Got a bushel of fresh oysters from seafood mart in Thomasville and these Texas folk are enjoying it! Maybe something will move today

Same here. Cousin flew in from VA. Not a deer to be seen after three hunts and last week they were crawling all over the place. Hoping this big front coming through tonight changes things for the morning.

If it rains tonight and it will - i will be out for at least few days in tville - maybe longer and winds coming later that make tville hard to hunt so tville may be out for while - hav to see how it drys out

My oldest son killed his first buck this afternoon. He was pumped up. He was sitting with my brother in law. I was sitting with my middle son we saw a spike right at dark.
