Bird strikes are common. I dealt with numerous in my career. Now the one in the Hudson was different. My take. Low budget carrier. Low pay pilots with not efficient training. There are about 10 airlines in the world I will fly on. Were you a commercial pilot? Did you fly for a major airline? I have several friends that fly for the airlines. Most were Air Force pilots before transitioning to commercial carriers. Several fly for Fed Ex or UPS as well.
