To determine how much of a good man he was then look at his presidency and his voting record These will say everything you need to know

I'm one of the ones on here old enough to remember those lines, granted I was in the back seat as a preteen dude, but I remember them. I expanded my vocabulary too by learning a few new words from my father and grandfather while in those lines.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I timber gas went from 30 cents to a dollar and my go cart sat idle times.

Dead, makes Biden officially the worst living former president Ole Jimmy was a lousy president but a decent human being. Biden is a lousy (and treasonous) president and a turd of a human being.

He was definitely a strange paradox. A Liberal Southern Baptist who was a terrible leader that cozied up to dictators, but personally a nice guy by all accounts.

What I posted on my Facebook page:
Whew. Them Carter days. I know he was a good man or whatever. But his presidency was a hot mess. Inflation. Recession. Families really hurting. My daddy had to take job out of town working construction because there was nothing around home. Businesses were closing due to double digit interest rates. Thieves kicked in the door of our house while he was gone and stole everything that wasn’t nailed down. The Iranian hostage crisis and the botched rescue attempt gave the American psyche another black eye. Meanwhile Jimmy told Playboy magazine he’d lusted in his heart over women. And national radio reported he couldn’t go on his annual quail hunt because of a raging case of the hemorrhoids. Some stuff just don’t need to be told. I was 8 or 9 years old and I remember all that. My grandfather used to tell how they nearly starved to death in the Hoover days. Carter was our Hoover days. Still, he was an American president and we salute the rank not the man. RIP Jimmy Carter.

Agree, can't really compare the two as people. Jimmy was WAY over his head as President; but was not a liar and a crook like Biden , and he did a lot of good after he left office.

I remember those gas lines. I used to get paid to go get gas for folks. Dad had a cousin with a Gulf station. He would turn to pumps on and let us fill our personal vehicles early in the mornings. Sometimes stations would put a limit on how much you could purchase. He did live long enough to see a worse president.

Agree, can't really compare the two as people. Jimmy was WAY over his head as President; but was not a liar and a crook like Biden , and he did a lot of good after he left office. The way I see it too. One was too naive, yet good and nice to be president and the other will go down in history as one of the crookedest, most vile politicians in American history. I truly believe as more stuff comes out, Biden will surpass Nixon as the biggest criminal in Presidential history.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
