Chair for shooting house? I’d prefer something for a big boy. Something comfortable, the plastic lawn chairs are not comfortable to me. This is going on my own property so I want something that will last. I know the office chair answer are coming, but if anyone has bought something and it fits this description let me know.
Thanks
I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

I hunted with a fellow for several years, back in the 80’s, that owned his own property and really put a lot of effort in his shooting houses and made them where they were pretty much rodent proof. He had recliners in his. The shoot house was big enough to recline the chair. All day sits were not a problem.

We have office chairs in most of ours. I like that I can swivel around quick and quiet. I keep a fold up camp chair for the kids if they happen to be with me.

Thanks Have you thought about using an office chair? Seriously though, I have a Hawk Big Denali with armrest that is on it's 5th year. No real complaints but you do need to lubricate it occasionally with silicone or graphite to keep a squeak or two out of it when turning. It is very big boy friendly!

I have a Millennium shooting house chair in my box on the home place. The club we have retired office chairs.

I use office chairs. Usually get them at a thrift store or Goodwill. Sit down in it, roll around, lean back and all that. I have one i wish i had left at the store. Take the wheels off and set the chair in a small car wheel hub, no noise from the chair wheels on the floor and you can spin till you get sick.

I’ll say this about arm rests. I use them to prop my back elbow either on the arm rest or the back of the chair. Accuracy is more about the off/back shoulder imo.

I wish I could use an office chair in our shooting houses. They work great for short folks but if you're over 6 foot tall you can't see shucks
We will burn that bridge when we get there
