Sitting in a shooting house in an old 9 acre row crop field in Barbour County. Saw six does this AM and a nice 3.5 year old 8 point. Spent midday putting in firebreaks.

You wont kill one sitting at the house watching a ballgame. You can stream a ballgame and watch it while you hunt. No telling what a deer might do. They eat and make babies whether the winds blowing or not.

I'm in the woods, and even upped the challenge. I brought my bow. 😀

On a hill? With 30 mph winds and frogs croaking, might not see a deer…
Prob should have flown a kite today instead 😂

Been here in same spot since 9. Deer finally moving. Had 6 does. 2 small bucks come through. Buck briefly chased the does. Maybe that deer I saw this morning is still around

Son got him one this evening! Slipped in behind us but he managed to turn and get a shot on him. Buck was cruising.

Well me and my daughter didn’t see anything but my dad killed his first deer in about 40 years…. I was so happy for him it wasn’t the biggest buck in the world but it had a set of horns and nuts… I know my mom is so proud of him and she is smiling down on him from heaven..
