GomerPyle OP Impatient Stinky Britches Wearin’ Off-Roadin’ Guru Joined: Aug 2014 Posts: 21,120 Northport, AL	me and a buddy hit the river yesterday and you could say "we found 'em".....caught well over what would've been a 2-man limit (didn't keep any this trip), most of which were a good bit over a pound and probably 20+ that were pushing 2 pounds. It's amazing how much fatter and healthier these river crappie are, compared to those in Lake Tuscaloosa. Lake T has plenty of them, but they usually way roughly half what a comparable length crappie on the river weighs. Last edited by GomerPyle; 01/02/25 08:40 AM.
