This morning I sent my oldest son to a stand overlooking a grown up powerline facing west. Told him the sun rising to his back would warm it up and the deer would move through there. Maybe even bedded in it. We had stopped at Jacks on the way and he ate an ol’ greasy bacon biscuit. I told him not to order that mess. About 8:30 the rumbling stomach hit him and he had to come out of the woods. A guy went in behind him and sat in that stand and killed a tall, heavy 8 pointer. My son has sworn off Jacks.

Why not go at the stand and cover with leaves? Always carry TP.

Heck - i hav gone by stand and used leaves. When it hits hard - cant wait to truck and tp. Take tp in vest turkey hunting but not deer

He even had my truck and we were texting back and forth and I told him there was TP under the back seat. He said this was more than a “drop and go”. I’ll give him that he does have “issues”. That’s the reason I told him not to order that mess.

I went number 2 a few weeks back right behind the shooting house in the woods. No TP so used some big leaves. I wasn't about to walk back to the house.

No. We left and went back to the house. Only live about 15-20 minutes away, and the guy came in right after we left.

We eat one of them all you could eat sea foods one night before opening day. I went once before climbing and had to come down twice lol. Seen several deer and killed an 8. I have never took a dump out of a climber but I got friends who have. Older people grew up in a different time
