We found out the owner of the land we’re leasing has the property up for sale. I really don’t know if it will sell quick or be something that’s drawn out for years. So, I don’t want my boys and me to miss out on next years deer season if it sells last minute on us. So I’m looking for a lease in the areas of Tuscaloosa, Hale, Greene, Bibb, Possibly Pickens, Sumter and Lamar. I’d prefer to lease from a private owner but would lease from a timber company depending on the details.
I’d entertain the thought of joining a club in the same areas if openings come up, but I’m very picky about clubs given my boys are young and safety is a priority for me when hunting. I appreciate any info on things coming up this year. Thanks.
