Yes, but I don't believe that lasted.

Beau Rivage in Biloxi used to have a really good buffet too. Haven’t been in years so no idea what it is like now

we went ate there back in early Nov and it was awful. I don't know if it was just an "off" night or what, because we had a LOT of people recommend it. But it was truly terrible. I've had better food at a typical "china buffet".

Yep not anymore. Chinernan flu ruined most of em, the Beau recently remodeled and downsized theirs.

Naw just not the same, the GN didn't even bother reopening theirs after the chinernan flu. It's a big sports betting area now

I’d be surprised if many existed outside casinos as much as prices fluctuate with crab legs and other seafood. Don’t they close snow crab for a year or two.

Don't do it! Nasty, everything they serve looks and tastes like lunchroom food. Go to Seafood Junction.

I have been to Seafood Junction. It was good. I wish they had a Giant Crab location down here. The one in Myrtle Beach was awesome the time I went. My buddy that started this whole discussion said raw oysters needed to be a must have on my post. That may narrow my search to further south. Think I'm going to just say lets load up and go south and do a seafood weekend.

Sawmill was good 20 years ago. It was a $12 buffet.

I miss AYCE crab legs and 1.99 a dozen oysters. Those were the days.

We had one years ago at The Point Restaurant and had frog legs too
Cajuns had a small one until Covid

That is really what I miss. Oysters are that much each now if you get them out at some places. Makes crab legs seem reasonable.

Good raw oysters doesn’t require being close to the coast and only parts of the coast really have oysters, available seasonally or at all, locally. I had some fine oysters at a place that specializes in them in Chattanooga a few years ago. They had them fresh from all over the country. But they were $4, $5, $9 a piece. About as reasonable as getting Maine lobster in Hawaii. It took the same flight you did.
