Steyr rifles are imported. I do think someone around Troy imported a run of them. There was definitely some imported through a company in Trussville I have one of those. Gun South,Inc , in Trussville; was formerly the Steyr importer. They also did Merkel and other high end guns. They were related to the Birmingham Woods family that owned the Aeromarine boat, gun and outdoor store. That store sold James Earl Ray the Remington 742 that killed MLK.
