The 277 Fury was not what it was planned to be when it hit the market. It was proposed as a 130 grain bullet at 3100+ FPS from a 16" barrel. It currently delivers 2710 with a 16" barrel.
Had it done what they said, 6.5 creedless would have died on the vine.
