I’m right there with ya. If they come in all calm they are a lot more likely to get a pass than if they are chasing and grunting. Killed a basket 8 last year on some public, that might otherwise have gotten a pass, but he just had to chase a doe a grunt like crazy coming down the ridge.

lol , my grand nephew just told me not to kill big boy in the yard few minutes ago . he goes hunting with his daddy and they've killed deer but he told me flat out i could not kill that one . lol


my sister keeps him at times and he loves watching the deer .

Was going to sit all day but my hips and back got to bothering me about 1230. Went to the house and cooked a couple chuckeyes rested my eyes a minute and got back in the stand about 230

I’m in. Small green field. Lots of movement last few days so maybe today is the day. My dad is sitting in the next patch. I’m hoping he gets one. I rather see that.

I was gonna sit all day too. But gave up around 1:00. I usually see more in the morning anyway

Been in since 3:10. Had a shooter here at 2:55. Hope he comes back. Saw 5-6 people on side of 22 coming back from Mississippi heading in the woods. Should be some deer killed this evening. Good luck everybody
