I was in Selma hunting last week and the daytime movement was slow. They were moving heavily right after dark. They had just started making scrapes and rubs and those were everywhere. I did have some does on the field late one afternoon and a big ole bodied devil came out and ran them off. It was too dark to see exactly but I think it was a big 9pt he had on cam in that area. I think they were just starting to get interested in the does. Mommas still had lil ones. Saw one lone doe with dark hocks. Saw some tracks that looked like young bucks harassing does in the cotton fields. It should only start getting better each week thats for sure. Maybe this will give you some idea. Good luck
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!

They’re starting. If you see a pack of does in a food plot for example, there will likely be a buck along at some point to harass them running around trying to smell their back parts for signs of them being in season. I’d say the rut is right on schedule.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
