mine has warm up a lot of stuff . i took some thin metal and cut and bent so it would clip the the vents and hang out over the heat its just wide enough to set a can on You can flip the wire guard around and make it a shelf to heat things on

Damn being cold when you ain't got to be I used to think they were for sissies but now I don't go without them I used to be that way about a lot of things but as I’ve gotten a little older (40 in May) I’ve stopped giving a crap about most of that stuff. Life’s too short to be uncomfortable if you don’t have to be

Anybody use the fan that connects to the wire guard and the heat spins it? Was wondering if they work and help spread the heat out. I got one in a package deal and it moves air….nothing overwhelming, but it helps. I use it on our space heater in the bathroom, too (high ceiling makes for a cool room in the winter).
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....
