Anybody said big bucks won't eat corn in the daylight yet? That's always thrown in to these discussions And that's also BS. I think these deer are getting conditioned to feeders from an early age now. I've got plenty of mature bucks at feeders and quite a few in daylight. Got the pics to prove it's bs too. Had one at my feeder this morning. Guess I shouldn't have slept in. How's that? ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/Ub2gPHv.jpeg) Short stubby thing!!

We all know there is a lot that goes into seeing or not seeing deer, I don't believe you can just blame corn. Do you have a camera over that corn, you would be surprised what these will do to some? Has the hunting pressure changed both on your land and neighboring? What's been cut? There are so many variables, it is hard to narrow it down, we all know this, we just do what we can.

A deer is nothing but a goat with extreme athletic ability and highly nocturnal tendencies. That is all I’ve said for about 30 years You ever ate a goat? I love cabrito!

Good stuff Davyalabama. So many variables. Did your neighbors hav big acorn crop? Did their timber change? Did they lime (that matters)? Did they out plant u? Are they out feeding u? Do they out hunt u (less pressure)? I hav seen folks on here say their deer disappear in rut. Let me break it down and i never been to your property 😀
Every swinging dick in woods is running at your does - they scared to death and change their habits - you gonna see less 😀
Then they get in lock down
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever
