If I recall, I had it in 2wd up to that point because it wasn’t too bad. Had already eased through a couple of similar spots before that one no problem and thought that one would be the same. Eased into that one and when the wheels started slipping the traction control killed the momentum. I put it in 4wd and locked the rear diff but at that point, both diffs where high centered enough that I wasn’t getting any traction. It only took a light tug to get it moving again and it came out.

I’ve hauled a big 6 pt in the trunk of a Maxima. I still remember the look on the guys face at the processor when I pulled and he asked could he help me. I was like yeah, just dropping a deer off and popped the trunk. We both just started laughing.

I've stuffed a doe on three separate occasions in my Sonata with plenty of room for my rifle. My first buck when it quarterd in a ruck sack last year. I don't drag anymore being on public 100% of the time. I'll make 2 trips before I get stuck or drag another deer.
