I wasn’t really trying to get into the specifics of individual buck movement patters or anything but really just trying to express how covering 1-2 miles for a buck is absolutely nothing to them…..and you realize that the more you follow them around

I've hunted land with cows on one side none on the other side . Cow side be nice and clean other side be thick and the bucks would cross the fence to the clean side and walk the fence line . I killed bucks standing in the middle of wide open fields . Buck are really lazy they bed and hide in the thick stuff but they aint dragging themselves through it to move around .

I do think this though . Bucks dont travel the same trails as does do . Bucks I've killed tend to off the main trail some what . Or they come through a little differently. .

I hunted a big power line in Macon County in the mornings the cows would come though on a well worn trail little later does and littles one come through same way but the bucks would never come through on those trails. Never

You walk down to where the bucks cross and you barely tell there was a trail there .
