I wasn’t really trying to get into the specifics of individual buck movement patters or anything but really just trying to express how covering 1-2 miles for a buck is absolutely nothing to them…..and you realize that the more you follow them around
We dont rent pigs

CNC , they just like any thing else they do what they wanna do . I was younger I read more and more about home range older I got more I hunted less I believed those people doing the writing. Course now I think a lot of them was just reading what I was reading and just retyping it . Same as with a lot of stuff
Ever time I hear the phrase ,,,, they won't,,,, I laugh . Same with turkeys

Anyone ever tracked a mature buck for mile or so have a very different opinion of how a deer travels . They will almost always stay on break of a hill. Not on top or bottom .never cross open areas an always in thick stuff if possible . One was killed behind my house this week chasing a doe . Friends had pics of him over 2 miles away and been hunting him all season . Mature bucks are very different than bunch does when it comes to travel pattern. They are an amazing animals . never ,,,, yeah right lol sorry i disagree with ever thing you just wrote . No problem . Guess things are different in my area than yours . Or you have never tracked a deer . I live in the hills of north al . Things little different than rest of state
