I killed a pretty nice 8 point. Chased a doe by me at 3:15 and got away from me. Doe drug him back at 5:05 and he didn't get away. Pickens County. Last edited by pickenstj; Yesterday at 08:22 PM.

I saw 10 deer, not an antler between them, and my son saw 7 does and a scraggly buck he didnt want to shoot. Lots of deer, but virtually zero rut sign. My son said the buck nosed around a couple of the does, but never acted like breeding was on his mind. Not a bad way to spend and evening, but was hoping to see some rut activity kicking off. You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?
