Set up on the ridge with mixed hardwoods and a cutover that backs up to this area. Still snow on the ground, quite a few tracks in here. I heard one walking through on my walk in. It's a still, cold morning. Stay safe and good luck.

Skunked this morning. Moved to small fingerling ridge that drops off into 10 year old or so pines that haven't been thinned and are full of thick undergrowth. Sitting on one trail that runs up the ridge and one trail running parallel to the thick stuff. 2 scrapes in here, although I have very little faith in killing a deer over a scrape. At least there was a deer making a scrape. Stay safe and good luck.
