Just got back from the Unicoi callmakers show. We had to do a quick turnaround due to the weather, but definitely ready for spring now:

I don’t know how to post pictures, but I’d be happy to send someone some pictures of my haul. Was a great show as always. I came away with some great stuff and spent too much money. Was a long day since we decided to go there and back to avoid the snow and ice today. Glad we did because they got a lot of snow on that mountain.

I don’t get ate up with it until after the rut. It used to be after duck season went out in Arky but that addiction got to be too much money.

At Unicoi, today was browse and get a buy plan together for tomorrow.

I'm about to wear out some coons on my deer feeders. That's about as close to thinking about it as I've gotten yet

Going with a different group of guys this year, but no chance will I go back to that outfitter. When I do Mo again, I’d prolly just go public or so….pretty much what some of us in that group resorted to. Y’all goin back up there?

Yes our group is going back with the same guy but they moved the season back a week because of Easter I think! Yes I have started on the coons also!

Haven’t really ever stopped thinking about it. I never stop trapping coons, run traps around feeders year round. Got a new firebreak finished up and making burn plans. Got some bush-hogging to do soon, trying to reclaim some old pasture ground.

And that’s a great assortment of calls. I’ve never been to that show, and probably don’t need to go. I’d end up in bankruptcy and divorced.
